Urbanites Discover Hunting

Another good story about hunting and responsible gun ownership appears in The New York Times today.

From the "Urban Deerslayer," written by Sean Patrick Farrell,

Jackson Landers, an insurance broker by day, teaches a course here called Deer Hunting for Locavores. Mr. Landers, 31, started the classes earlier this year for largely urban adults who, like him, did not grow up stalking prey but have gravitated to harvesting and cooking their own game.

I dont pheseant hunt, but I have owned a cocker spaniel myself, and he use to chase and catch birds all the of the time.
