During SHOT Show University, NSSF officially named Legendary Guns of the West, an FFL from Phoenix, Arizona, as their 2008 Don't Lie for the Other Guy Retailer of the Year.
David LaRue, owner of Legendary Guns, accepted the award and spoke for a few minutes about the importance of the anti-straw purchasing program.
"Don't Lie" is a great program that not only helps to curb the criminal acquisition of firearms, but also demonstrates to the media and others that we, America's firearms retailers, are honest and law-abiding businessmen who do everything in our power to ensure criminals do not get a hold of our products."
